Hand-lettered title: The Dark
One hand grips the bedsheets while the other holds a flashlight. Where the beam falls, the bedroom glows in colour, while everything else stays black and white and three unseen ghosts lurk around the bed. Illustration by Amber Acosta.

Three ghosts hiding in the dark, but they can feel them there! This one leans into the spooky. I wanted to explore drawing spirits and how they interact with the scene, the colour, and the linework. The dark stays in monochrome, with full colour only where the flashlight lands.
